Short bio :

Melanie Estella was born in Italy (where she lives) from an Italian father and a dutch mother. She soon feels attracted to music for which she developes great passion, also thanks to her family and listening to all kinds of music. As a child Melanie takes piano lessons for a while, but she soon understands that singing is what she really wants.Her career starts at the age of 16, as solist singer of a funky-acid jazz cover band . One year later she also performs as back vocal in another cover band. 

In 1998, besides singing in live bands, Melanie starts to perform as a freestyle vocalist. During the following years she gets the opportunity to work in the most famous clubs of Italy.

In 2002 Melanie enlarges her horizons thanks to the famous Sunday evenings at Café Solaire (Milan) and starts to work with deep house dj's, such as Bruno Bolla and Marco Fullone (Radio Montecarlo). This music gives her the right input and inspiration express herself with great free-style vocals with soul and funk influences. 

Melanie actually is one of the most appreciated and successful singers/mc's of Italy, also in occasion of performances with international dj’s such as Bob Sinclar, who always enjoys working with her in his Italian tours. As she has an international stile of performing, paying a lot of attention to the music and singing and talking in english,Melanie is often asked to support international dj's such as Axwell (SHM) in italian and swiss clubs. During the last years she has successfully performed in clubs abroad as a guest singer: Moscow,Dubai,Marrakesch,Switzerland,Seychelles,Netherlands. Her exhibitions consist in singing her songs (production in cooperation with dj’s and producers of national and international fame) and doing some freestyle vocals. She also is continuously requested as testimonial of tours for various important brands.
