M e l a n i e   G e r r e n 

Melanie was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Following the tragic death of her brother, Randy, she was convinced by her sister, Michele, to take an acting class to help her deal with her pain. Melanie immediately discovered a love for acting, however her curiosity to see the world was even greater and she left Los Angeles to travel the globe.   
She now lives in Rome, Italy, where she has worked in several television, theatre and film productions. M. has worked with Wes Anderson (The Life Aquatic of Steve Zizzou), Pieraccioni (Il Principe e Il Pirata), the oscar winning director, Gabriele Salvatores (Nirvana), Silvia and Ettore Scola (Ti Aspetto in Sala D’Aspetto and many others.
Music is Melanie’s newest passion. She has written the lyrics and music to many songs, which are currently being produced, and she wrote 2 songs for the soundtrack of the film “I Mostri Oggi” (Warner Brothers): Swing Climax and Libidolove.
M.’s contact with many different realities, her knowledge of various languages like French, Spanish and Italian, her contact with big metropolises like Paris, London, Madrid, New York: all of this has permitted M. to construct an artistic journey that is cosmopolitan and deep.
In 2009 the collaboration with Proceed Records began with Haldo DJ/Producer. Proceeds is an independent label that produces house, deep, lounge, nu jazz, and bossa.
